U.S. Special Repatriation Flight to Washington, D.C.

U.S. SPECIAL REPATRIATION FLIGHT TO WASHINGTON, DC (THROUGH IRELAND) – FRIDAY, JUNE 19 AT 2:00 PM

As part of the Government of Morocco’s emergency response to COVID-19, all regularly scheduled commercial flights to and from Morocco remain suspended.  At this time, the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca is arranging an additional special repatriation flight for U.S. citizens and U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents who seek to return to the United States.

FLIGHT DETAILS:

The special repatriation flight will depart Casablanca Mohammed V. International Airport (CMN) on Friday, June 19 at 2:00 PM.  Passengers will fly to Ireland’s Shannon Airport, where the plane will change crews and refuel before flying directly onto Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).  Passengers will be not permitted to deplane in Ireland.  The flight will arrive in Washington, DC at approximately 8:30 PM (EST).

The price per passenger is 1125 UK pounds.  Passengers will be responsible for booking their own onward travel arrangements from Washington, DC, including hotels and onward flights to other destinations in the United States.  Tickets for infants under the age of 24 months cost 50 UK pounds (approximately $62.00).

Inflight catering will be provided.  At the time of booking, passengers will select a standard, vegetarian, or gluten free meal option.

Baggage allowance is one bag per person (up to 23kg), plus a carry-on.  Passengers may be able to purchase extra baggage, depending on weight availability.  Each passenger is only permitted to purchase one seat; business class is not available.

A limited number of pets (dogs and cats) will be permitted with proper documentation and in accordance with all U.S. regulations.

ELIGIBILITY:

Due to the limited number of seats, the flight will be available ONLY to U.S. citizens and to Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs).  LPRs must have a valid Green Card.  No others – including immigrant visa holders, F1 student visa holders, B1/B2 visa holders, nor any other non-U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent residents – will be permitted to board this special repatriation flight.

Seats will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
