Passports

The American Citizens Services Unit of the Consular Section provides passport services by appointment only.  All appointments must be made through our website; we do not schedule appointments by phone.  All passport applications should be filled out online using the online passport wizard, printed out single-sided, and brought with you to the Consulate on the day of your appointment.  Failure to do this could result in having to reschedule your appointment.

All Americans residing in Morocco should hold valid U.S. passports.  No single document is more important to an American citizen residing overseas.  All minor children, including newborns and infants, must have their own U.S. passports. If your child has never had a U.S. passport and was born outside of the U.S. and its territories, you must first obtain a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA).  Click here to apply for a CRBA for your child.

We urge you not to let your passport expire nor delay in submitting an application for renewal of a passport.  We strongly encourage you to apply at least six months in advance of your anticipated travel dates.
