Medical Exam Instructions
All immigrant visa applicants, regardless of age, require a medical examination prior to the issuance of a visa. Only a physician accredited by the U.S. Consulate can perform this exam. It is your responsibility to schedule a medical exam with one of the doctors listed below before your visa interview at the consulate. Medical examination results from other physicians will not be accepted. All panel physicians listed speak French, Arabic, and English.
*COVID-19 Update: Due to measures put in place to keep social distancing at the panel physicians and at the Consulate General, as well as the high volume of immigrant visa appointments at the Consulate General in October and November 2020, you may have difficulty securing an appointment with a panel physician before your interview. If you experience a delay in seeing a panel physician, please do not be concerned. You can still come to your interview on the scheduled date, even if your medical exam is not complete. You will have an opportunity to schedule an appointment with the panel physician after your visa interview.
