Invitation: Properties Management Office Online Auction

The General Services Office is pleased to inform the Mission community that an online auction of U.S. government property will be held from 2:30 pm. on Friday October 6th, until 2:30 pm. on Friday October 27th, 2023. The Items for sale will include used household appliances, furniture, computers, and miscellaneous equipment.

All sales will be in Moroccan Dirhams. The Embassy reserves the right to refuse any bid(s). All items are being auctioned on an “as-is, where-is” basis. The Embassy makes no warranties or guarantees regarding any item(s) being auctioned, except that the U.S. government owns the property. Each bidder is responsible for all tax or customs duties that may be due at the time of payment. A list of all winning bidders will be provided – by request – to the Moroccan Tax Authority.

After registering and logging in, bidders can preview and bid on auction items at:  Interested individuals can submit bids on the site by filling in all fields on the registration form and placing their bids in Moroccan dirham-MAD.

Successful bidders should pay for their lots through BMCI Bank Agence located in: RABAT AV ABTAL, Angle avenue Al Abtal et rue Oued Sebou, 10000 RABAT no later than Friday, November 9th, 2023.

The successful bidders should submit the original copy of their bank receipts to the responsible Embassy warehouse staff to collect their winning lots.

The items can be collected at the Embassy warehouse in Temara, Lot No 51, industrial area, with GPS coordinates: 33°56’17.7″N 6°54’04.6″W between November 1st to November 10th from 9 am to 4 p.m.

The U.S. Embassy will not deliver any item(s) and will not move any purchased item(s) onto or into the successful bidder’s transport.
